With Summary of Job Description listed below:
I. JOB SUMMARY
A Human Resources Associate (Timekeeping & Payroll), Processes an organization’s payroll in a timely and accurate manner. Creates and maintains employees’ payroll records. Calculations wages and applicable deductions based on employee attendance and timesheet records. Enters payroll information into central system for processing. Issues employees’ checks and earnings summaries. Completes payroll reports.
II. JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an efficient and motivated Human Resources (Timekeeping & Payroll) to be responsible for all payroll and timekeeping processes. It includes the management of employee data, ensuring the accuracy of timesheets, computing wages, and ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time.
III. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain and manage timekeeping in and out records of employees.
· Check and inspect timekeeping records for errors and rectify.
· Maintain databases of employee timekeeping records.
· Maintain and organize individual employee service records.
· Process and prepare payroll of employees based on timekeeping records.
· Analyze and evaluate current period payroll and timekeeping issues.
· Receives and coordinates requests for leave and other absences.
· Completes payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review.
· Compute earnings of workers by referring to their annual salary or timesheet to discover hours worked.
· Initiate payroll during appropriate time and print off checks.
· Compile employee time, production, and payroll data from time sheets and other records.
· Calculate and include deductions, such as income tax withholding, Social Security payments, insurance, and union dues.
· Record employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations, in order to maintain and update payroll records.
· Compute wages and deductions, and enter data into computers.
· Monitoring and processing of salary loans, sickness/expanded maternity, death claims, funeral and etc.
· Summarizing and encoding their contributions benefits.
· Knowledgeable in PRN System. (Payment Reference Number)
· Submitting online sickness notification and maternity notification thru online website.
· Prepare the summary deductions for employees’ payroll thru bracket for SSS, Philhealth and HDMF.
· Submitting report for contributions/loans monthly.
· Enrolling their government ID’s.
IV. JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
· Must be graduate of Bachelor’s Degree HR, Business Administration or any related field.
· 1-3 years of payroll experience preferred.
· Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel)
· Can work with limited supervision and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
· Highly-organized when it comes to the DTR documents.
· Proven work experience as a timekeeper or similar role (manual and system).
· Time-management skills.
· High numerical aptitude and detail oriented.
· Exemplifies customer service skills.
