QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education: High School Graduate / Vocational
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in tree servicing/maintenance works at public and/or private spaces
Training: Any seminars/training related to tree care and maintenance activities, and repair and maintenance of equipment used in the said duties and responsibilities
Eligibility: None required
Skills:
(1) Knowledge in actual application of methods, practices, tool and materials use in the care and maintenance of trees.
(2) Occupational hazards and safety precautions involved in tree maintenance work
(3) Can lift materials up to fifty (50) kilograms
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for all minor tree pruning and trimming activities at the park for safety, security and aesthetics purposes.
- Operates basic tools and mechanized equipment for the conduct of maintenance activities.
- Shall be part of the Emergency Response Team of the Agency.
- Ensures that all tools and equipment for pruning operations are ready for use and properly maintained.
- Responsible for reporting and documentation of maintenance activities.
- Function as part of the emergency response team during disasters and inclement weather conditions to perform tree pruning-related tasks.
- Prepares and submits documents, reports and forms required by the agency.
- Performs other related tasks and duties

Agency Mandate
As an attached agency of the Department of Tourism, the National Parks Development Committee is tasked to develop, preserve, and manage Rizal and Paco Parks in Manila and other parks that may be assigned to NPDC.
Mission
NPDC shall develop, preserve, and manage Rizal Park and Paco Park to ensure the general public’s appreciation of the Park’s facilities and activities. In particular, it shall:
1.
