Job Summary
- Strengthen relationship with key customers by identifying and attending effectively to each specific Channel account needs.
- Develop and implement distribution and marketing programs that target specific channels to promote services or products. This role includes creating distribution and marketing plans, staying up-to-date with the latest trends, and coordinating campaigns within the marketing team and with department heads.
- Enhance relationship with Clients by continuously improving business and providing early visibility of needs and concerns.
- Continuous improving of company image through strengthened partnership between Channel Accounts, MDI and Clients by: a) by protecting the core (ECOV, MSL, OSA and Revenue) and b) delivering effective and efficient service-levels
Channel Focus Requirements
Channel Focus Accounts require the following from the Channel Focus Specialist (CFS):
Order Process Monitoring
- Ensures timely upload and/or encoding of Purchase Orders
- Coordinates with Customer Service in processing of all orders
- Oversee the timely approval of ad hoc deals
- Coordinates with A/R counterpart and Credit to ensure timely release of orders
- Coordinate with the Clients if there are out of stocks and/or critical level products for replenishment to MDI Warehouse
- Inform key accounts of un-served orders due to out of stock and request for re-PO
- Make the necessary follow-through with Operations to achieve the delivery lead-time based on FDS
- Monitors the Order Fill Rate and utilize available data i.e. Order Monitoring Report (OMR)
- Back-orders (out of stock)
- Near expiry
- Expired CPR
- No principal approval
Communication Link
- Must be a communication champion between MDI, Key Accounts and Clients
- Provides prompt communication of business correspondence between Clients, Customers and MDI:
- Price Change
- Deals/Discounts
- Promo packs allocation
- Requirements for new Product introduction/inclusion
- Promo and marketing campaign (Trading Terms Agreement, MSF, etc)
- Purged/Phased-out products
- Special schedules i.e. Hard-close reporting, Stock-take (MDI or Clients)
- Bidding Schedules & Requirements
- MDI Advisory – Expired/expiring LTO/docs
- FDS
- Stock-out
- Official Holidays
- Meeting and coordination
- Business Review
Returns Management
- Oversee efficient management of returns by ensuring that the ff activities will be performed properly and on a timely manner by the assigned personnel
- Pull-out schedule and lead-time
- Coordination with the assigned Forwarder to determine fixed schedule of pull out
- On-time CM Processing and reconciliation
- On-time posting of CM and A/R Reconciliation
- Follow-through on Principal’s approval if there are Request to Pull-out Beyond Policy (FM-SD-023)
Inventory Management
- Monitoring Account’s inventory levels by weekly and monthly collation of data in order for us to transfer it in our SISO File database for proper analyzation
- With all the given data, market trends, trade intels and customer’s feedback we can come up with the suggested order skus with the appropriate stock weights to management customer’s inventory level
Business Intelligence and Development
- Provides sales development and business analysis
- Provide reports requested by the key accounts
- Provides regular feedback on available pharma updates, market developments and other business essentials
- CFS will have branches (CDS) or customers (WS-SUB D) coverage to get the appropriate market trends, competitor’s activities and trade intels.
Securing On-Shelf Availability (OSA)
- To achieve consistently the On-Shelf Availability target monthly regardless of brand distribution route based on ACABAR Report
- Get own availability readings, spotting opportunities and recommend brand and stock weights to customers
- To validate weekly the OOS report from the merchandiser and align with the customer stock weights and opportunities
Effective and Efficient Forecasting
- Partnering with Sales Operations Supervisor, Sales Leaders and Client to create and maintain sales forecasting models and data
- To assist reliability of sales and demand forecast by incorporating all data given, market trends and trade intels that will improve its accuracy
Principal Requirements
A person to liaise for Clients on matters pertaining to channel accounts:
Provides prompt communication of key accounts’ relevant updates to MDI and Clients such as:
- Stock take/ Inventory count
- Special promo undertaken by key accounts
- Preferred delivery schedule
- PO schedule for the month/ year
- New policies and/or change of existing policy
- CM Report per Principal
Provides on- time feedback on Product-related concerns
- Product accreditation and requirements
- IS Monitoring Report / Feedback Form
- Slow-moving items
- Short-dated stocks
- Deleted/ Delisting of products
- Out of stock
- Product quality issues

Job Requirements:
- Graduate of Marketing, Management course or any business-related course.
- One to two years experience as key account specialist, key account manager or an equivalent position
- Willing to be handle Pangasinan and Tarlac Area
