We are currently looking for adequate candidates to fill the position of IT Configuration Management Analyst. Location: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment; working remote as well as at the closest office location.
About the Opportunity:
The IT Configuration Management Analyst is responsible for the execution, review and improvement of the Configuration Management (CM) services, processes and supporting technologies. This role will regularly partner with IT and business functional groups to develop and mature CM lifecycle policies and practices to ensure accuracy and completeness of Ceridian’s global CMDB.
What You’ll Get To Do:
- Ensure daily end-to-end delivery of Configuration Management services in accordance with the configuration management plan
- Develop and maintain configuration management data element strategies and roadmaps
- Create, publish, and manage configuration item lifecycle policies
- Maintain accuracy of the Configuration Management Database (uCMDB), self-service portal, and ongoing data quality
- Work with process owners to define and refine best practices and procedures for identification of capturing and maintaining business value data elements
- Participate in the planning, designing, and implementing of the Service Model in CMDB to ensure visibility across the environment
- Participate in all management of CMDB data quality assurance activities
- Facilitate Configuration Item (CI) reviews and audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of configuration items maintained within the CMDB (both discoverable and undiscoverable)
- Capture CI data model and associated relationships
- Communicate to audiences about Configuration Management services, concepts, policies, and procedures
- Maintain third-party integrations to uCMDB and integrate additional data sources as needed

Skills and Experience we Value:
- 5-7 + years of experience understanding the architecture and foundational aspects on CMDB platforms
- 2-5 years of experience integrating separate software technologies via REST, SOAP, JSON, Partner, or Internal API’s
- 3+ years of specific work experience in IT Configuration Management or related field
- Strong understanding of the OSI 7-Layer Model and how to identify each layer
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
