WHAT IS AN ICT SUPPORT OFFICER?

  • Our awesome client, a leading company is looking for an ICT Support Officer to be part of their team.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?

  • Resolving user queries and issues as the first point of contact in a professional and timely manner
  • Creating, varying and deleting user accounts in accordance with Company policy and processes
  • Ensuring that the required technology and access is available to new starters as approved by the relevant line manager
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and related equipment
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Ensuring that the active directory is kept up to date
  • Ensuring systems are up to date and secure
  • Managing mobile device setup and issue to approved users
  • Supporting with administrative tasks as required
  • Coach users in relation to the use of technology as required

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The position is required to communicate externally with:

  • IT Vendors

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Well-developed communication and customer service skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise and problem solve
  • Demonstrated understanding of server operations and maintenance and software implementation and integration.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Technology (Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, MS Teams) and Apple (Mac, iPhone) environments
